Your instruction manual is the most important tool you have to keep your machine in good working order. Instruction manuals come with your machine, but if you have lost yours, you can usually obtain one free or at a low cost directly from the manufacturer.
The following chart includes a list of major sewing machine manufacturers, plus instructions on how to download manuals from their websites. To locate your manual, you will need your machine brand name and model number.
The model number is listed on a label on most machines.
